This position is responsible for research and development of= signal processing algorithms for hearing aids. Qualifications A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science or= related field is required. Candidates with a Master's degree in electrical= engineering, computer science or related field and 3+ years of applicable = experience may be considered. Research experience in hearing aids or cochle= ar implants is highly desirable. Research experience in audio signal proces= sing algorithms, psychoacoustics or acoustics is a plus. Skills * Proficiency in Matlab is required * Proficiency in C, C++ or C# is required * Advanced knowledge of digital signal processing is required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required * Familiarity with typical hearing aid algorithms, such as multiple-cha= nnel compression, speech enhancement, microphone array processing, machine = learning algorithms and audio classification algorithms is a plus Salary Salary will be commensurate with experience.
