Please, see below for a detailed description with links and contact details. The Audio and Acoustic Signal processing group of Delft University (http://cas.et.tudelft.nl/Research/theme.php?id=6) seeks a postdoctoral researcher to work on the extraction of specific sound sources from complex acoustic environments with interferers and reverberation. The final outcome of the project will be a complete system that extracts a specific source signal using a set of microphone signals and that forms the basis for a real-time implementation. A strong mathematical background is required. Experience with subject areas such as acoustic signal processing, compressive sensing, convex optimization, and distributed processing will be beneficial. The successful applicant will join a research group with 10 researchers working on a range of problems in speech and audio processing. Delft University of Technology was the highest ranked university in The Netherlands according to the London Times reputation ranking (ranked nr 19 of the top 100 universities for engineering and technology 2014-2015).
