Fernando, The method for doing this calculation may be found in the following paper: Allen, Jont B. and Neely, S. T. (1997) "Modeling the relation between the intensity JND and loudness for pure tones and wide--band noise"; /J. Acoust. Soc. Am.,/ *102* (6) pp 3628--3646 http://auditorymodels.org/GEAR/Djvu/Allen/AllenNeely97.pdf Somewhere I have a matlab code that does this calculation, but I would need to look for it. The theory is discussed in: Allen, Jont B. (1996) "Harvey Fletcher's role in the creation of communication acoustics"; /J. Acoust. Soc. Am.,/ *99* (4) pp 1825--1839, April http://auditorymodels.org/GEAR/Djvu/Allen/Allen96.pdf You need to be careful to note if your looking for freefield, or under headphones. They are very different things. Jont Allen On 04/07/2015 12:21 AM, Richard F.
