MEEI and EPL provide an interdisciplinary and collaborative intell= ectual environment within an active clinical setting. The research base inc= ludes 23 NIH-funded investigators studying hearing and deafness, 4 studying= balance disorders and 15 studying vision and blindness. MEEI researchers h= old faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and participate in teach= ing programs for graduate students, medical students and residents, at both= Harvard and MIT, including the Program in Speech and Hearing Bioscience an= d Technology. Funds for a generous start-up package have been raised. Candidates should have an outstanding record of research accomplishment and= a strong desire for research collaboration, especially in areas of transla= tion to clinical application.
