Qualifications A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science or= related field is required. Candidates with a Master's degree in electrical= engineering, computer science or related field and 3+ years of applicable = experience may be considered. Research experience in hearing aids or cochle= ar implants is highly desirable. Research experience in audio signal proces= sing algorithms, psychoacoustics or acoustics is a plus. Skills * Proficiency in Matlab is required * Proficiency in C, C++ or C# is required * Advanced knowledge of digital signal processing is required * Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills are required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required * Familiarity with typical audio processing algorithms, such as speech = enhancement, acoustic echo/feedback cancellation, microphone array processi= ng, learning algorithms and audio classification algorithms is a plus Salary Salary commensurate with experience.
