Looks to be very relevant to people interested in auditory processing. --- Malcolm We are looking for a doctoral or postdoctoral candidate to work on an European level funded project that will investigate auditory attention using methods such as EEG and psychophysics. The candidate should have a strong background in physics/electrical engineering/computer science. The person will develop and implement algorithms for auditory scene analysis on embedded platforms and should preferably have some experience in one or more of these areas: computer programming on smart platforms, signal processing, electronic systems, and embedded platforms. They should also have an interest in neuroscience. The work will be carried out in the Sensors group at the Institute of Neuroinformatics, University of Zurich. Salary is according to the guidelines of the Swiss National Science Foundation. Doctoral applicants should hold a Master's degree in an engineering /computer science-related subjects.
