METU is the top research university in Turkey and also one of the top 60 = universities by reputation as reported in Times Higher Education 2013-14 = World University Rankings. The medium of education is English. The = project will be carried out in the Informatics institute of Middle East = Technical University (METU) in Ankara, Turkey. The institute has = state-of-the art research facilities for audio and acoustical signal = processing.=20 The research project is funded by the Scientific and Technological = Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). The funding covers a tax-free = stipend of TRY 21,000 per annum and will be for three years.
