Dear auditory colleagues, At Philips Research in Eindhoven, we have an open position for a Senior Scientist Perception and Cognition (118793) What we are looking for: The successful candidate in the role of Senior Scientist Perception and Cognition has/is: * A Ph.D. degree + several years (5+) of work experience in this field; * Research experience through own experimental and modeling work in the field of auditory perception and cognition revealed by high-quality publications; * Strong experience with all aspects of behavioral research (setting up own experiments, knowledge of relevant experimental techniques and methods, statistical analysis of experimental data and modeling); * Additional experience with visual perception, environmental psychology and digital signal processing is appreciated; * Experience in bridging basic behavioral research and real-world application needs; * Good social and communication skills; * Ability to work on more activities simultaneously and to set the right priorities independently; * Flexible attitude, creativity and commitment.
