The journal pioneers a "Public Peer Review" practice that is intended to encourage scholarly dialog and reward reviewers for timely and thoughtful engagement with submissions. The journal is published four times per year and provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
