Chuck, This is interesting and a worthwhile undertaking. One thing though I may want to say: If you want List members to spread the word, especially members who may have expertise in hearing evaluation and hearing impairment in general, it would be helpful if you invited them to try the test on themselves and or a few selected hearing impaired persons whose loss characteristics are known to them. And invite them with the understanding that they won=B9t be charged for their trial run or runs. Since what you are saying you want is for colleagues to spread the word, I think making them try your test would be the smartest way of achieving your objective.
