Dear list members, Two 3-year PhD stipends are available from 1 October 2013 at Aalborg University in Denmark. The stipends are associated with and funded by an EU collaborative project called "Learning to Create", which will focus on machine modelling of musical learning and creativity. The PhD fellows will be employed within the Media Technology Section of the Department of Architecture, Design and Media Technology in Aalborg. They will be registered with the doctoral programme in Computer Science and Engineering. Applicants should have a masters degree in music theory/analysis and/or computer science. Applicants with a masters degree in only one of these areas should be able to demonstrate a strong aptitude for and interest in the other area.
