The emphasis is put on the development of physical models and accompanying computational models. The area of acoustic-mechanical micro systems is considered to create a bridge between the well established disciplines of acoustics, mechanics, fluid dynamics and hearing science with the purpose of improving the ability to optimally design small objects such as miniature audio devices.
