The appointee will join an internationally recognised and highly motivated team of researchers and will contribute to the EPSRC project 'Multisource audio-visual production from user-generated content'. A relevant background in multimedia signal processing is essential, with further expertise working with audio, video, or multichannel signals preferred. Experience in audiovisual signal analysis, in source localistion and/or computer vision will be highly desirable. Applicants must also have excellent technical, programming, communication and team working skills. The successful candidate should have a PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related discipline and have experience covering the full range of duties required for the post. The post is full time and for 24 months starting from 2 January 2013. Starting salary will be in the range £30,500 - £33,994 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
