Lectureship at the Sonic Arts Research Centre The Sonic Arts Research Centre is looking to appoint a full time, permanent= member of academic staff with a background in Electrical and Electronic En= gineering or Computer Science. This position is an opportunity to contribu= te to the interdisciplinary research team at the Sonic Arts Research Centre= , School of Creative Arts, Queen's University Belfast. The aim of this post is to produce high-quality research and publications a= nd to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the area of rese= arch expertise and other technical areas across the curriculum. Relevant fi= elds of research expertise include digital signal processing for audio, dig= ital music processing, spatial audio, performance technologies, HCI, softwa= re design, recording and production. The successful candidate is expected t= o contribute to the development of links between the arts and the sciences = in the context of the creative industries. The postholder will be based at the Sonic Arts Research Centre and will con= tribute to the curriculum of the BSc Music Technology and Sonic Arts, the M= A Sonic Arts and will be involved in PhD supervision.
