The position is available at the Assistant Professor rank. Description: The Department seeks outstanding candidates with research expertise and potential for teaching excellence in hearing science/audiology. Candidates with specialization in any research topic related to hearing or auditory function are strongly encouraged to apply. Areas of expertise could include: auditory development, auditory neuroscience, auditory cognition, psychoacoustics, assessment and intervention, amplification, or cochlear implants. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain an externally funded program of research in hearing science/audiology relevant to health, aging, and/or disability. Available: The position is available August 16, 2013. Qualifications: Applicants must hold an earned research doctorate or equivalent terminal research degree in an appropriate field by August 2013.
