Qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in audiology, hearing science or a related field and evidence of excellence in research and teaching. Although not required, this individual may hold certification and/or licensure in audiology. Duties and responsibilities include conducting research and seeking extramural funding, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advising graduate students and participating in related scholarly activities. The Department is housed in a well-equipped, 30,000 sq. ft. facility containing our research and clinic space, including individual faculty laboratories. The Department enjoys close working relationships with other departments in Arts and Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
