We seek to appoint an internationally recognised early-career scientist who= will develop an strong research profile in Speech Science. We are seeking candidates who will attract independent funding and build co= llaborations within UCL, nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in Phonetics and also = develop new advanced-level teaching content. The target start date is September 2012. Key Requirements Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline or the ex= pectation of the award of a PhD before the start of the appointment. Suitable candidates for the post will have an international research profil= e consistent with career stage, in the area of Speech Science and Phonetics with a specialisation in one or more of the following: - Developmental aspects of speech perception and/or production, including d= evelopment in a multilingual environment - The neuroscience of phonetic processing.
