The project is the MEMS/CMOS Microphone project: a project funded by the UK EPSRC. The project has been running for about two years, jointly between Stirling and Edinburgh Universities, and aims to build a MEMS/CMOS microphone oriented towards sound perception and interpretation, and in which there are multiple sensors, each individually with individually rapidly adjustable gain.
