The École d'orthophonie et d'audiologie is located in an expansive new facility equipped with the latest technology. It is also home to a university clinic where research and teaching activities can be conducted. The École d’orthophonie et d’audiologie is seeking candidates with skills and experience related to the following fields: - pediatric audiology or child hearing development, or - cochlear implant, or - vestibular system, or - any other field of activity that is directly related to the advancement of audiology. Duties Teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervision of graduate student research (directed study and theses), conducting an active research program in his or her specialty in audiology, exerting influence in the scientific community, contributing to the School’s academic life and management. Requirements Ph.D. in audiology or a related field. Postdoctoral studies or relevant work in an academic environment. The candidate must have a research record as well as teaching experience. It is preferable that the candidate be eligible to the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (The Quebec College of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology). Any candidacy in another field of audiology could be considered. The teaching language is French; a non-francophone must be able to teach in French, at the latest three years after taking the position.
