Correction on the deadline Dear List Assistant or Associate Professor, Tenure Track School of Audiology and Speech Sciences, UBC Vancouver Campus The School of Audiology and Speech Sciences at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, Tenure Track. This position will be based on the main UBC campus in Vancouver, a vibrant multicultural city abounding with cultural and recreational opportunities and which The Economist has deemed to be the world's most liveable city for the past five years. The School (www.audiospeech.ubc.ca) is located in recently-renovated premises, and provides ample research lab space and state-of-the-art teaching facilities. The School offers an intensive two-to-three-year program of graduate coursework (Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology), research and supervised community-based clinical practice leading to the M.Sc. degree. It also offers Ph.D. and postdoctoral education. We are seeking candidates that hold a Ph.D., have experience in university teaching and in student research supervision, preferably at the graduate level, and a strong record of research corresponding with experience. The successful candidate will be required to provide instruction in Audiology (preferably in the areas of Hearing Science as well as Electrophysiological Measures of Hearing), research and service. Preference will be given to applicants with research expertise in the neuroscience of hearing, with a focus on neuroimaging and neurophysiology; however, applicants with research expertise in other areas (such as cochlear implants and/or aural rehabilitation) may also be considered. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
