Dear colleagues, A 1-year postdoctoral position is now open in the Cognition and Psychoacoustic group (http://olfac.univ-lyon1.fr/unite/equipe-02/equipe-2-e.html) at the Neurosciences, Comportement et Cognition lab in Lyon, France, under my supervision. Any junior researcher having a PhD degree in acoustic, psychoacoustic, psychology, neurosciences or any connected field and involved in psychoacoustics may apply by submitting to me a short research project. Any project about basic psychoacoustic involving normal hearing young adults is receivable. Some connexion with Auditory Scene Analysis would be appreciated , but is not required. The postdoctoral researcher is expected to be an active self-sufficient member of the Cognition and psychoacoustic group, and is expected to perform academic research using behavioural or computational approaches. The employment is for 12 months. The start date is flexible. The position is available on a full-time fixed term basis. The post-doc will receive a contract from the CNRS (National Scientific Research Centre). CNRS offers a salary of approximately 2030 Euro net per month. This include health insurance and unemployement insurance but it is not negotiable whatever the amount of experience of the applicant. To apply, please email the following information before march 15st to nicolas.grimault@xxxxxxxx: an application letter including (1) a research project (1 page), (2) contact information of 2 academic referees, (3) a copy of your CV and most relevant publications (attached pdf). Nicolas Grimault
