Dear List, You may be interested in an Audiologist position at Dynamic Hearing in Melbourne, Australia: --- Clinical and Research Audiologist to join commercial R & D team Melbourne, Australia Based in Melbourne, Australia, Dynamic Hearing develops advanced signal processing solutions for the hearing aid, headset and telecommunication industries. The team includes audiologists, signal processing engineers and applications programmers who work closely together through all stages of product development, from concept to delivery. Dynamic Hearing also runs a small clinic providing adult audiological assessment and rehabilitation including the fitting of hearing aids. The focus of the clinic is on achieving good client outcomes whilst augmenting the team's knowledge of current hearing aid technologies. Dynamic Hearing's audiology team is not constrained by time, sales targets or particular manufacturers in achieving its goal of high client satisfaction. The company is seeking an experienced and motivated audiologist to join the Research and Development team. The role will involve collaborating with other team members on research projects and product evaluations. The candidate will be an integral team player and will be involved with projects and studies from their conception through to completion. The candidate will be required to formally document studies, both in the format of formal reports for commercial use and, where appropriate, contributions to scientific publications. Involvement in the clinic is welcomed, but not essential. The audiologist appointed to this role will ideally have previous audiology research experience. The position would also suit an audiologist who is looking to make the transition from clinical work to research.
