Applications are invited from researchers with a background in software= development, signal processing, audiology, electrophysiology or other hear= ing related discipline. Knowledge of Matlab or C++, databases, data analysi= s skills, and excellent writing skills are essential. You should have a PhD= or equivalent experience. You should also have good communication and orga= nisational skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work independe= ntly and show initiative. You will be supervised by Dr Karolina Kluk, Prof.= Chris Plack, and Dr Kai Uus. The project will involve software development and its validation, analysis = of data as well as involvement in the written preparation of research findi= ngs for presentations and publications. You would be expected to develop and optimi= ze the software for use with normally hearing adults during the first year = of the project. During the second year of the project you will be managing = the software and optimizing it for use with hearing-impaired patients. Funding for this post is available for 24 months.
