Subject: Neural phase locking across level/auditory nerve fibre population From: Dr JI Alcantara <jia10@xxxxxxxx> Date: Mon, 8 Aug 2011 00:14:27 +0100 List-Archive:<http://lists.mcgill.ca/scripts/wa.exe?LIST=AUDITORY>Dear List, I'm sure this has been looked into before, though cannot easily find the relevant references: I'm away from my desk presently. I'd be grateful if anyone could point me towards studies that have looked at neural phase locking in auditory nerve fibres across population, i.e., using Liberman's 1978 classification: Type I, II and III fibres. Relatedly, what this tells us about pitch perception of pure tones as a function of level?
