Scientific meetiing will be Monday morning through Friday lunchtime. ======================================================== Dear Colleagues, The abstract submission for CIAP 2011 is open on our web site: http://www.ciap2011home.org/ Deadline: March 15, 2011 The 2011 Conference on Implantable Auditory Prostheses will be held July 24-29, 2011, at the scenic Asilomar Conference Center, Pacific Grove CA. This is the 15th in aseries of biennial international research conferences on cochlear implants and auditory brainstem implants. The 5-day meeting focuses on the most up-to-date research in the field. We expect to bring together an outstanding group of scientists at the forefront of research, with afocus on including younger scientists and students as well. At the CIAP, sessions are in the mornings and evenings, there are no concurrent sessions and the afternoons are free, creating a highly interactive environment. The guiding principle is the presentation of new, unpublished work. There will be substantial time allotted for open discussions and free sharing of ideas. In addition to oral presentations by invited speakers there will be poster sessions during the evenings and afternoons (submissions to made in March 2011). Students and postdocs are invited to apply for funding to support the cost of attending the meeting.
