You also might want to try the Loudness Toolbox for MATLAB that Genesis Acoustics announced on the auditory list last March.  It includes both the ISO (Zwicker) and ANSI (Moore and Glasberg) standards for stationary and non-stationary sounds. http://www.genesis-acoustics.com/en/index.php?page=32 I have also used the the Adobe Audition "Group Waveform Normalize" with some success.
