Hi everyone, One interesting project that gives much tighter control on the way the sounds are played than dewplayer: http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soundmanager2/ For the rest, the best is probably to store your results in any type of SQL database. You can then get the data from almost any software (Excel, Matlab, Python, R, SPSS...). As others said, you then need to code your actual experiment as you would do, using a combination of PHP (or Python, or Ruby, or whatever language you like and is supported by the hosting server), HTML and Javascript. -Etienne ----- Mail Original ----- De: "Marcelo Caetano" <gaiolouvo-auditory@xxxxxxxx> À: AUDITORY@xxxxxxxx Envoyé: Mercredi 27 Avril 2011 10h05:27 GMT +00:00 GMT - Grande-Bretagne, Irlande, Portugal Objet: Re: [AUDITORY] Listening experiments online Hello Rahul and others who might be interested, I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, I was kind of busy finishing my PhD. I actually did one of those online experiments (which I announced on the auditory list). I got an example of the html code here http://recherche.ircam.fr/anasyn/caetano/survey/survey0311.html This page uses a php code named post2mail2.php (written by Gilles Degottex) that you can find here http://recherche.ircam.fr/anasyn/caetano/scripts/ The page uses the free flash-based dewplayer. You can download it here http://www.alsacreations.fr/dewplayer-en.html Hope that helps. Don't hesitate to contact me if you still have any questions. Would someone on this list be willing to share their code/scripts for such an experiment? I’m guessing these are relatively simple to do, but why re-invent the wheel?
