Postdoctoral position in computational modeling of music perception A 1-year postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Petr Janata in the Center for Mind and Brain at the University of California, Davis (http://atonal.ucdavis.edu). The project, funded by the US National Science Foundation (NSF), involves the modeling of tonality perception and analyzing behavioral and functional neuroimaging data using the model. The position is envisioned for someone with a background in music information retrieval and an interest in psychology and cognitive neuroscience, or someone with a strong background in cognitive neuroscience and music who is interested in computational modeling. Excellent programming skills and experience with MATLAB are required.
