De : p.belin@xxxxxxxx [WORKSHOP] International Workshop on Voice and Speech Processing in Social Interactions, Glasgow (Scotland), 18-19 April 2011. Voice and speech play a fundamental role in social interactions, but they have been relatively neglected compared to other aspects of social exchanges such as, e.g., facial expressions or gestures, and have been studied by scientists from different communities. This workshop aims to bridge this gap by gathering researchers from neuroscience, psychology and computing science, to share the latest findings on social aspects of voice and speech and to identify the most important issues still open in the domain. *Abstract submission before March 15th, 2011* Detailed information at: http://sspnet.eu/2011/01/vspsi/ Preliminary program: Keynote lecture: Klaus Scherer (University of Geneva) “Social markers in speech” Invited lectures: Psychology/Cognitive neuroscience perspective - Sonja Kotz (MPI Leipzig).
