Post-doc and PhD research assistantship positions in the areas of digital signal processing and speech processing are available in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Potential candidates should have a solid background in signal processing, preferably in the speech processing area. The candidate will be working on research projects funded by the National Institutes of Health. Some of these projects focus in the areas of (but not limited to) speech enhancement, de-reverberation, multi-microphone noise reduction algorithms and objective measures for predicting speech intelligibility.
