A 36 months postdoctoral position is available to work on an EPSRC-funded project that will use psychophysical techniques to investigate the role of= the efferent system in auditory gain reduction in humans. You will be supervis= ed by Dr. Ifat Yasin (UCL Ear Institute) and Prof. Chris Plack (University of= Manchester). The applicant will be based at UCL Ear Institute, and will re= port to Dr. Ifat Yasin. The project will involve development of MatLab software for running the experiments, recruitment of participants, collection, analysis and modelli= ng of data as well as involvement in the written preparation of research finding= s for presentations and publications. The project is supported by the EPSRC and funding for this post is availab= le for 36 months. Key Requirements Applicants should hold a PhD in a field of study relevant to the research project and have experience in computer programming (especially MatLab). Previous experience of computational auditory modelling and running human psychophysical experiments is desirable.
