Hello all, please distribute to any that might be interested: The Lab of Integrative Neuroscience and Cognition at Georgetown University (PI: Josef Rauschecker, PhD.) seeks applications for an open Research Assistant position. This position involves human brain imaging research of topics related to auditory neuroscience, including basic perception, tinnitus, music, language, and many others. The successful applicant will participate in all aspects of research, including: subject recruitment, scheduling subjects for testing, acquiring behavioral data, organizing data for statistical analysis, and assistance with manuscript preparation. A bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, biology, or related field is required. Strong intellectual curiosity, the ability to work independently, excellent communication and writing skills, and previous experience with SPSS, Matlab, Excel, and/or computer programming/scripting will be considered valuable assets.
