Qualifications A Ph.D. degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, computer science or= related field is required. Candidates with a Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field and 3+ = years of applicable experience may be considered. Research experience in hearing aids or cochlear implants is highly desirable. Resear= ch experience in audio signal processing algorithms, psychoacoustics or acoustics is a plus. Skills * Proficiency in Matlab is required * Proficiency in C, C++ or C# is required * Good verbal and written communication skills are required * Good interpersonal skills are required * Advanced knowledge of digital signal processing is required * Technical leadership in a research project is highly desirable * Proficiency in statistical analysis is desirable * Familiarity with typical hearing aid algorithms, such as multiple-chan= nel compression, speech enhancement, microphone array processing, learning algorithms and audio classification algorithms i= s a plus Salary Salary will be commensurate with experience.
