Tenure-Track Faculty Positions Available Hearing Research Program Medical University of South Carolina The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston is recruiting two tenure-track faculty to join and further enhance an established, collaborative, multi-disciplinary Hearing Research Program where the major focus is on basic and clinical studies of the auditory system. Well-equipped, renovated laboratories are available. Qualifications include a Ph.D. and demonstrated ability or exceptional potential to develop and sustain an independent, extramurally-funded research program. We invite applications from creative scientists who study the consequences of hearing impairment with strong credentials in auditory perception, psychoacoustics, speech recognition, hearing aids, and/or auditory physiology. One position will be appointed at Associate Professor or higher and one position will be appointed at Assistant Professor. Positions for postdoctoral fellows are also available. Charleston, SC features a beautiful, historic location on the Atlantic coast, moderate climate, and excellent quality of life.
