--============_-1017821977==_ma============ Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" Northwestern University Assistant/Associate Professor in Audiology The Roxelyn & Richard Pepper Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University has been at the forefront of audiology research, development, and education since the inception of the field. The department currently houses research laboratories studying hearing and hearing loss, vibrant PhD and AuD programs, and a state-of-the-art hearing clinic that provides clinical education and services to the greater Chicago area. We are seeking a dynamic leader to integrate these strengths via translational research as well as innovatively expand the scope of clinical services and education. This nine-month position is based on the Evanston campus. Preferred starting date is September 1, 2008. Duties: (a) promotion of applied research individually as well as in collaboration with other faculty members in the department leading to extramural funding; (b) intellectual and executive direction of the audiology clinic with a view to expand educational and service opportunities to new domains; (c) teaching in the classroom and/or clinic; (d) service to the department, school, and university. Qualifications: PhD and clinical certification required. The candidate must have a consistent record of peer-reviewed publications. Candidates with management experience of large-scale clinical and/or research enterprise will be preferred. Salary: Competitive, depending on qualifications and experience.
