Sile is a blind audio engineer who did a thesis in music technology at CCRMA. She has, among other things, worked on haptic interfaces to help the blind visualize waveforms, etc. A home page that I found for her at the Sonic Arts Research Centre (SARC) at Queens University, Belfast is: http://www.sarc.qub.ac.uk/~somodhrain/palpable/default.html The page gives no contact information. I don't know whether she's still there. Somebody at CCRMA, such as Chris Chafe (cc@xxxxxxxx) may have current contact information for her. -- Al ------------------------------------------------------------------- Albert S.
