For filled and/or unfilled intervals, this has been shown by Chistovich (1959), Creelman (1962), Abel (1972), and Divenyi & Danner (1977), among others. However, it is true that for narrow-band time markers the Weber fraction increases at intervals shorter than about 100 ms. Pierre Divenyi
