At ExpORL (dept Neurosciences, University of Leuven, Belgium) a research position is available for a PhD student interested in cochlear implant research. The research focusses on the characterization of neural responses to complex electrical waveforms in cochlear implants using both behavioral and objective (ECAP, EABR) measures. Knowledge of signal processing (engineering, biomedical sciences) is required. This is part of a research collaboration with Dr. Bob Carlyon, MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, Cambridge.
