Dear Dr. Deutch and anyone who might know about this phenomenon, I just had a few questions; feel free to ignore if the controlled studies haven't been done: 1) Do you find similar effects with any speech sounds? That is, randomized word order, reverse speech, random words? 2) Is there a difference if the speaker is male or female? 3) Do you find the effect more prominently in non-native speakers listening to the repeated speech? Thanks! -Tom Live by the foam sword; die by the foam sword! http://www.yale.edu/freeduel Keep the jukebox swinging. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Any questions?
