The subject matter covers a wide range of topics related to sound capture, analysis, transmission, and reproduction. Through sound capture and analysis, sound source locations may be tracked and their signals separated based upon their acoustic characteristics. Transmission allows for part or all of the signals to be effectively delivered to other locations for effective and plausible reproduction.
