Dear Auditory list members, This is the second announcement of the Audio Engineering Society 30th International Conference on "Intelligent Audio Environments" March 15th-17th 2007, Saariselkä, Finland (it's 200 km north from the Arctic Circle) The conference will bring together researchers and developers in the field of intelligent audio environments. The subject matter covers a wide range of topics related to sound capture, analysis, transmission, and reproduction. Through sound capture and analysis, sound source locations may be tracked and their signals separated based upon their acoustic characteristics. Transmission allows for part or all of the signals to be effectively delivered to other locations for effective and plausible reproduction. Advanced analysis and transmission methods are expected to enable new types of control of the audio environment A full-paper submission deadline is October 24th 2006. See the complete list of topics and CFP in http://www.aes.fi/aes30/papers.php Best regards, Tapio Lokki Co-chair of AES30th conference -- Tapio Lokki <Tapio.Lokki@xxxxxxxx>, http://www.tml.hut.fi/~ktlokki/ Helsinki University of Technology Telecommunications Software and Multimedia Laboratory PO Box. 5400, FI-02015 TKK, Finland, tel. +358-9-4514737, fax +358-9-4515014
