Subject: Re: Question about In-Ear Microphones From: Hacihabiboglu H Dr <H.Hacihabiboglu@xxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 1 Feb 2006 17:49:32 +0000Hello Martin, DPA 4060 is a reasonably priced (around £150), high-quality, omnidirectional, miniature microphone with a flat response in 0-10kHz range. We use it for in-the-ear measurements (not for HRTF measurements as of yet!). I would suggest you to check with the UK distributor. I don't remember from which company we ordered ours but Canford, Studiospares, Jigsaw etc. should all be selling these. I have also heard of the Knowles microphones that Elena mentioned. Farnell UK may probably be the place to look for them. Hope this helps, Best, Huseyin _____________________________________________ Dr Hüseyin Hacıhabiboğlu Research Fellow I-Lab / CCSR University of Surrey, Guildford GU2 7XH Surrey, United Kingdom Tel: +44 1483 683435 Fax: +44 1483 686011 e-mail: h.hacihabiboglu@xxxxxxxx ------------------------------ > > Date: Wed, 1 Feb 2006 14:37:24 +0100 > From: Martin Ostermayer <oster-m@xxxxxxxx> > Subject: Question about In-Ear Microphones > > Dear List, > > I need to purchase a pair of in-ear microphones for doing HRTF measurements.
