However I assume that the SII algorithm is based on a "typical" = population ... not just male or female input voices.. Does anyone have a SII program - or data - to cover male voices & female = voices separately? I can then assess how any speciifc hearing loss will react to male = voices and female voices separately. Thanks, Richard ------=_NextPart_000_002E_01C66ED3.CE41EE60 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2900.2802" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>Hi,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>I use a freeware SII program to check the = intelligibility=20 of speech for hard of hearing, using their audiograms.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>However I assume that the SII algorithm is based = on a=20 "typical" population ... not just male or female input = voices..</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>Does anyone have a SII program - or data - to = cover male=20 voices &amp; female voices separately?</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>I can then assess how any speciifc hearing loss = will react=20 to male voices and female voices separately.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>Thanks,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial></FONT>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial>Richard</FONT></DIV></BODY></HTML> ------=_NextPart_000_002E_01C66ED3.CE41EE60--
