Marc, This isn't exactly what you asked for, but there is a single such recording in the collection at the University of Iowa web pages here: http://theremin.music.uiowa.edu/MIS.html The lone example that is not a musical instrument is a balloon pop. The helpful part is that this project, conducted by Lawrence Fritts, is an ongoing project. If you write to him you may well be able to convince him to add in some samples of ordinary sounds.
