Starting date is August 18, 2006, January 1, 2007, or thereafter. Required: Ph.D. in specialties related to genetics and/or neuroscience of speech and hearing sciences and disorders completed by August, 2006; evidence of engagement in a program of scholarly research related to biobehavioral neuroscience of communication disorders; demonstrated qualifications to teach courses in human communication. Preferred: Achievement of national recognition in chosen area of research; demonstrated potential to obtain financial support for research; record of effective teaching and mentoring; ability to contribute to the climate of diversity in the college. Initial review of applications will begin on November 15, 2005, and will continue until the position is filled. Applicants should submit a current curriculum vita, letter of application, relevant research papers, statement of teaching philosophy, course syllabi, teaching evaluations, and supporting letters from at least three persons.
