Tarun, I've found the following two books invaluable for psychophysical experiments: i) Detection Theory: A User's Guide by Neil A. Macmillan and C. Douglas Creelman ii) A primer of signal detection theory Besides which, there are texts on research design and methods for behavioral experiments (these texts are used in psychology programs a lot ) but I've never taken such a course myself, I just make it up as I go along :-)) Monita *---------------------------- M Chatterjee, PhD Asst Prof, Hearing and Speech Sciences 0100 LeFrak Hall University of Maryland at College Park College Park, MD 20742 301-405-7716 (Voice) 301-314-2023 (Fax)
