The post provides the opportunity for a committed and innovative individual to make a major contribution to the strategic developments in the School. The successful applicant will have an international research profile in the field of audiology, psychoacoustics, hearing science or related area; we would be particularly interested to receive applications from those with a background that includes a research record in auditory electrophysiology and its application to audiology and related fields. The appointee will have strategic vision and show strong academic leadership, with the ability to develop the School’s current research profile and enhance the reputation of the School through promoting and delivering high quality research and teaching. The post is located within the School's audiology and deafness research group; funding has been earmarked for a further academic post to support the research and teaching activities of the Chair appointment.
