You might try some damping compounds geared at adding limp mass to barrier systems. One retail supplier is http://www.acousticalsolutions.com/products/damping/damping_compound.asp It would take some time and testing, and could be a little messy but might achieve what you're looking for. As an alternate, have you considered insert earphones in combination with circumaural headsets?
