Subject: Yet again on hearing aids From: Al Bregman <al.bregman(at)MCGILL.CA> Date: Mon, 29 Mar 2004 00:36:34 -0500Dear Tom, Unfortunately, the "system", as you call it, can take your optimally designed, frequency-loss compensated, and perfectly fitted device and shove it in the back of a dresser drawer. I am told that a large proportion of hearing aids spend their lives in this location. Yes, you should ask the "system" what it wants and what it would be comfortable with, if you want your help to be real, and not just a perfect solution on paper.
