Thanks for the responses. I conveyed them to my friend. But from what he told me about this yesterday, he says that he was practising some excercises for enhancing peripheral vision when this happened to him and he got very scared. Now he thinks that this somehow enhanced the sensitivity of his vision and audition. I dont know if that is right or not, but it seems he is much better now.
